The Molesworth is a relaxed countryside restaurant near Holsworthy and Bude, serving thoughtful European-inspired dishes shaped by our travels, family favourites and the ingredients we love to cook with.
A place to enjoy good food, good wine and an unhurried evening in a warm, comfortable setting.
Our food is a little different from the everyday — interesting, well-judged and carefully prepared — but never so unusual that it feels intimidating. Every dish on our menu is something we genuinely enjoy ourselves, often inspired by places we’ve travelled, flavours we return to, or meals that have stayed with us.
We serve comforting, European-inspired dishes with the occasional gentle influence from further afield — food rooted in travel, family and memory.
Our menu is deliberately small, allowing us to focus on doing things properly: flavour, balance, presentation and service, without shortcuts or unnecessary complexity.
What matters most is creating an evening that feels calm, welcoming and quietly special.

Opening Hours:
We are open on selected evenings, usually Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with limited tables and a deliberately unhurried pace.
Thursday: 6pm to 10pm
Friday: 6pm to 10pm
Saturday: 6pm to 10pm
We are a small, food-led restaurant and deliberately keep our number of tables limited so we can create a calm, well-paced experience.
Booking ahead is strongly recommended, as our opening evenings and table availability may vary. It also helps us plan our freshly prepared dishes properly, maintain quality and reduce unnecessary waste.
